The alarm check valve is a wet pipe sprinkler system water-supply check valve. It is designed to hold back water pressure at the valve until such time as a sprinkler is activated.
Alarm check valves are available in three types, flange by flange, flange by groove and groove by groove. Each valve type is available in 3”, 4” and 6” sizes.
They may be installed vertically or horizontally in the mail supply to wet type sprinkler system.
The alarm check valves are listed and approved by UL for use in fire sprinkler system with a maximum working pressure of 300 psi.
