Aluminium Foil Tape is developed with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive is developed especially to seam & seal Foil/FSK faced fiberglass duct board and duct – wrap insulation. It provides superior sealing and vapor barrier protection. This tape is supplied with an aggressive acrylic based adhesive on one side which assures a firm and long lasting bond over a wide temperature range. The Dead-soft aluminum foil backing, excellent heat and light reflection to protect against high temperatures and U.V. degradation. The foil also serves as an excellent barrier against moisture, dust, flame, and certain chemicals as used in aircraft paint stripping masking. Acrylic adhesive supplies superior temperature, U.V. and solvent resistance. It provides excellent age life and is ideal for harsh, long-term outdoor environments, irregular & curved surfaces for a wrinkle free application.

Primary use of FSK tape is to seal longitudinal and butt joints of FRK faced pipe insulation when a maximum strength tape is needed. It is also used for sealing cold & dual temperature duct seams & joints where FSK is the basic insulation facing. This FSK Tape is a maximum strength Foil/Scrim/Kraft tape. It is used for sealing seams in scrim reinforced foil duct insulation and in all weather conditions. FSK Tape features include Wrinkle-free backing with permanent bond adhesive. The acrylic adhesive all weather formula adhesive system assures firm & strong bond over a wide temperature range. Since the FSK tapes are available in pre-cuts as per the site requirement, this reduces site labor. The release liner provides easy removal for efficient application on the job site and the FSK laminate gives a vapor barrier sealing of added strength and visual appeal.
