Product Descriptions
Cervical Polar Peek Cage
The anterior disc space implant is made from MR compatible PEEK material, which is a body-compatible thermoplastic solution for in-vivo applications and does not create any artefacts. It has an inclined structure in accordance with the anatomical structure, and there is a space on it for fusion purposes. The Superior and Inferior surfaces have a gear and knife system structure which provide a unique grip. The knife cage mechanism has sharp and wide surfaces to hold the upper and lower endplates. No posterior anterior or posterior implantation such as a cervical plaque is needed for fixation after implantation.
Usage Area
Anterior Cervical PEEK cagen knife; The insertion of the lower and upper vertebral bodies removes the need for fusion with other plaque screws in order to prevent both posterior and anterior dislocation, to be less invasive, to shorten the operation time, to reduce the need for necking and the duration. Anterior cervical discectomy suggests that autogenous graft fusion and anterior cervical discectomy are superior to cage fusion techniques.
Anatomic Location
Artrofiks Anterior Cervical Peak Cage is MR compatible, as shown on the side (top). It is designed to be placed in the neck region as an anatomical lordosis and intervertebral joint insulator with its own stabilization.
Packaging shape
A transparent low density flexible polyethylene is packaged in a non-sterile bag in a plastic bag.
