This bundle kit includes the PLE300 Powerline AV Network Adapter and the PLS300 Powerline AV 4-Port Network Adapter.  This is very convenient in older and larger homes where wifi signal can't reach (or is too weak to reach) some of the rooms or basement and you don't have ethernet cable run through the house.

Powerline network technology uses existing powerlines of your house to network your computers and wired devices. Very cool!

Installation is simple: plug the AV Network Adapter into a power outlet and into an existing wireless or wired router, and plug the 4-Port Network Adapter into another power outlet and your wired devices that need connectivity (for example, Playstation and Slingbox.)  Alternatively, you can connect a wireless access point to the 4-Port Network Adapter.  In this way, you have created another wireless network on the other side of your house (much stronger wifi signal!) and simply use powerline as a network backbone connecting the wireless access point to your existing wireless/wired router!
