These PE pipes are manufactured by Hepworth whilst the fittings are supplied by Georg Fischer.

PE Pipes are available in ranges from 20mm to 800mm.  Black and blue colours are available for water application whilst yellow is commonly used for gas.  PE system consists of large variety of fittings of butt fusion, electrofusion, compression and push-fit types. PE Pipes conform to ISO 4427 (Water) and ISO 4437 (Gas) standards.

Physical Properties

The general properties of PE pipes are: flexibility, good fusibility, durability, high strength, crack resistance, low frictional resistance, non-corrodible.  The exposure of PE to normal temperatures does not cause degradation of the material.

Application

Although PE Pipes are mainly used for conveying water and gas, they have many other applications, some of which are sewage pumping mains, slurry conveyance in quarries, mines etc., fire mains, chilled water, demineralised water, industrial and chemical applications, submarine pipes, vacuum sewage, telecom applications, ship building and sea water intakes.

• HDPE Soil, Waste & Vent Systems

These systems are used for the removal of domestic waste and rainwater from residential as well as commercial buildings.

The system is manufactured to EN 1519 specifications which incorporate a test temperature of 110°c. The pipes are manufactured by Hepworth whilst the fittings are supplied by Wavin. Sizes range from 32mm up to 315mm.
