H2B manufactures a wide range of human processed sera selectively depleted to be used as diluents or base matrices for calibrators and negative control.

This range is obtained from human plasma, successively defibrinated, dialysed, delipidated and then charcoal stripped to remove specific elements (vitamin D, steroids, hormones, T3/T4, TSH). With this range, H2B offers physiologic and calibrated base matrices, animal-free guaranteed.

Source plasma used as raw material by H2B complies with the company’s ethics commitment.

• Donor consent

Donors have consented that their donation may be used in any way the collection centre deems appropriate. This blood product is left over after testing routing volunteer blood donation from qualified human volunteer blood donor.

• Gratuitousness

Blood donations have not been paid in any form and proceed from qualified human volunteers in donation facilities selected according to EU or FDA Regulations.

• Anonymity

Each donation is anonymous and is associated with a donation number (complete donor traceability available).

Raw material has been tested and found negative for:

• anti-HIV 1+2 & anti-HCV antibodies
• HBs antigen
• HIV 1 & HCV RNA
• Syphilitic serology

All products are 0.2 µm filtered and have a shelf life of 2 years.
