Product Descriptions
UIG Energy offers a wide variety of Diesel Generator Sets ranging between 5 KW and 3000 KW. As a matter of fact, we provide customers, businesses as well as end users, with tailor-made power generation solutions that fit their needs/demands perfectly. These solutions are the result of our studies, product variety, knowledge, and experience.
UIG Diesel Gensets are delivered either from our factories in Turkey and Lebanon or from our distributors’ warehouses.
The DB Levels of our existing models range between 59db and 75db (at 7 meters) and we can often reach the client's exact desired acoustic performance.
Our range of Diesel Gensets includes the following brands:
Engines:
» Perkins
» Cummins
» Caterpillar
» Deutz
+ Others…
(Additional brands may be available depending on the location and time period of the inquiry as we are always negotiating with new manufacturers)
Alternators:

Gear Up
“Gear Up” is a concept that acts as a solution to variable loads
and unstable power needs. Knowing how common the latter
situations are, UIG Energy developed “Gear Up” to allow users
to switch gears by controlling several smaller and connected
gensets to serve a load of x KW instead of one x KW genset
serving the load.
Let’s take the example of a 1,500 KW diesel generator
power need in a non-stable load environment such as a
Telecommunications site. Instead of having a single 1,500 KW
genset serving the site, and thus having to give 1,500 KW of
constant load wherever the generator is on and regardless of
the specific power needed by the site, the “Gear Up” system
would include scenarios such as having 3 connected gensets,
500 KW each, serving the load and therefore dividing it among
them. The connection would be made to a smart control
panel that can synchronize between the generators and
automatically turn on-off units depending on the required loads
and variations.
This process results in advantages such as:
» Reduced Fuel Cost (Variable speeds/loads)
» Longer Genset Life (Additional working hours) - Cost and Time savings
» Safer Power Supply (3 Gensets operating instead of 1, less chance of breakdown, less chance of any unnatural performance)
» Flexible Modifications or Maintenance – No need to completely cut electricity
» Increased Eco-friendliness (Lower emissions of pollutants)
And of course, the more volatile the load and the more expensive the fuel, the more feasible and attractive “Gear Up” will be.
