This probe is used to control the mechanical air renewal in buildings. The new thermal standards impose airtight buildings and a mechanically controlled renewal. E4000 probe ensures optimum control of ventilation.
A regulation in function of human expiration of CO2 (meeting rooms, offices) and air quality (VOC, formaldehyde, some toxic compounds or odorants) can result in considerable energy savings.
Thanks to its temperature sensor, the E4000 probe controls the heating and cooling with a self-adaptive PID. This control can be done on perceived temperature.
The NanoSense E4000 probe uses only solid state sensors (NDIR optional) that require no maintenance. This technology provides cost competitive sensors and a lifetime of over 10 years without any maintenance. Furthermore consumption is much lower than NDIR.
CO2 and VOCs sensor modules are interchangeable without recalibration that allows to change the sensors every 10 years keeping the motherboard without re-setting.
Sober and discreet design of the probe can be integrated easily either in refurbished buildings or new ones.
The variety of interfaces and power supply allows the probe to interface with most existing systems.
