HANAE is produced using only the youngest and most tender hand-picked leaves of tea trees that have been shade grown for at least 20 days prior to the first harvest of the season, usually around April/May.
HANAE brews a great daily Ceremonial grade Matcha that can be sipped hot or cold, at any time of the day, to cuddle your taste buds and find calmness, while energising thanks to its mild and slow release caffeine content as well as a heavy load of Antioxidants.
Made from 100% stone ground green tea leaves grown exclusively in the Uji region, known to be the oldest area for production of some of the best Matcha green tea in Japan.
HANAE presents itself in a bright emerald green colour with rich earthy notes and a very subtle bitterness. This grade is ideal to be enjoyed in Usu-Cha style (thin Matcha) but it also makes delicious Coldbrew Iced Matcha.
We recommend to prepare this Matcha using our Handcrafted Bamboo Whisk for better aeration of the tea resulting in a creamy texture.
