Rubber lagging is manufactured using an abrasion-resistant top rubber layer and an uncured bonding layer to provide high levels of adhesion after autoclave curing.
Hot vulcanizing is generally considered to be the superior rubber lagging technique and for good reason. Because the process eliminates any gaps in the lagging, hot vulcanizing offers fewer modes of failure. This provides better overall performance and service life compared to the conventional cold bonding method.
For Hot Bonding rubber lagging on small to turbo pulleys you have to send the bare pulleys to Mouldtech Industries, Vadodara workshop where lagging done by hot bonding process.
If you are unable to send the pulleys we can send you the lagging sheets at your works which can be applied under our guidance by cold bonding method. We will provide full guidance with video for application of lagging at your premises.
