Hypalon Rubber Sheets are made from CSM (Chlorosulphonated Polyethylene) which is considered as an improved version of Chloroprene. The material makes these sheets fit for having good physical & flame resistant properties. The high quality hypalon rubber sheetings are much more resistant to attacks by Ozone & Oxygen which give them an edge over Neoprene Rubber. It makes them the proper candidate to exhibit weathering resistance and low gas permeability. All such properties which include flame resistance capability make these sheetings extremely suitable for electrical sealing applications.
The products exhibit excellent abrasion resistant qualities for brittle temperatures as low as -60oC too. Apart from electrical properties as stated above, they even have good resistance to corrosive chemicals. The sheetings display outstanding resistance towards oils & fluids, especially at extreme temperatures of around 125oC. But the products are meant to be kept away from direct contact with fuels. These sheets can withstand harsh conditions over a longer duration of time.
Hypalon Rubber Sheet is used for:
Gaskets for Chemical Handling
Seals and Joints
Lining for pipes, vessels and tanks against most alkalis and acids
Flame and Fire Resistance
Waterproofing band
Features
Chemical Resistance
Hypalon sheets are more resistant to chemicals including oils
Low Flammability
Our sheets have least chances to catch fire even in heated environments
Wide Temperature Range
The sheets have an operating temperature range of -25°C to 120°C
Resistance to Ageing
The sheets have better heat ageing & ozone resistance
Weather Resistant
Our sheets show good resistance even in extreme weather with longer worklife.
Low Gas Permeability
Our sheets exhibit low level of permeability when it’s about gases
