In apartment buildings characterised by a single heat generator, current energy-saving standards make it mandatory to apply thermoregulation and heat metering systems which give the individual users management autonomy, and at the same time to correctly allocate heat costs among residents.
For horizontal loop distribution systems, IVAR proposes user modules or satellites for direct heat metering by means of meters. User modules are units developed for direct metering of heat and DHW which include a wide range of functions to control the heating system: a zone valve, a filter, shut-off and balancing valves. Both solutions with three-way zone valve for fixed flow rate systems and two-way zone valves for variable flow rate systems are available. For satellite modules please look the at the dedicated section.
On the other hand, the offer for vertical distribution systems is based on indirect metering devices with heat cost allocators.
