INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
Negative: Two red lines are visible in the result window. The line in the test region (T) is the test line and the line in the control region (C) is the control line which is used to indicate proper performance of the device. No matter the color intensity of the test line is weaker or stronger than that of the control line, the test result is negative. Positive: Only one red line visible in the control region (C) and the absence of the test line indicates a positive result. NOTICE: A very faint line in the test region indicates that the amphetamine in the specimen is near the cut-off level of the test. These specimens should be retested or confirmed with a more specific method before a positive determination is made. Invalid: The test is invalid if the control line is not visible regardless of the presence or absence of the test line. NOTICE: Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for the control line failure. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new device.
