Percutaneous Discectomy is a minimally invasive disc decompression technique which removes some nucleus material from the intervertebral disc whilst minimizing damage to the adjacent tissue. The removal of nucleus material decreases the pressure within the disc, which can result in the contained disc herniation retraction. This in turn can lead to a decrease in back and leg pain.
Percutaneous Discectomy Kit (Sterilized Package) is used in Percutaneous Discectomy to treat lumbar (cervical) disc herniation. The system consists of precise MISS instruments and can effectively remove the herniated lumbar (cervical) disc.
