Mixer with sigma-shaped mixing arms supplied in a wide range of capacities, from 200 to 3000 litres, designed for normal and also for heavy duties which require increased power inputs and structural solidity of the machine.

Mixing bowl

Double cradle mixing bowl with product extraction screw and complete with jacket for circulation of the product heating/cooling water. The mixing is carried out inside the bowl by sigma-shaped mixing arms, counter rotating at different speed, which are well known for their mixing efficiency and cutting performance of the mixed material, for the excellent and rapid dispersion and mixing of all raw materials loaded manually or automatically. The mixing bowl is fixed and the discharge of the mixed product is carried out  by means of an extraction screw, which, during the mixing stage, rotates in the opposite direction of the discharge stage. The cover can be hinged, counterbalanced and dustproof. As option, it can be manufactured of fixed type fitted with inlets ducts  for automatic ingredient loading.
All the parts in contact with the product can be made of 304/304L, 316/316L stainless steel and/or high mechanical resistance stainless steel  suitable for food contact.

Electrical equipment

The main motor, housed inside the machine chassis, is standard supplied with bimetallic thermal protectors, tropicalization and IP55 protection. The control panel positioned usually on the door and/or on the front side of electrical cabinet is standard supplied with push-buttons, cycle indicator lamps, emergency push-button, timer for cycle time control, hour meter and thermoregulator for dough temperature. The electrical cabinet can be fitted on the mixer or separated, it contains all power devices and auxiliary controls.

Mechanical drive

The mechanical drive of this mixer has been improved in order to achieve a simple unit easily accessible for all maintenance operations, but without compromising robustness which is at the top of the category.
The mixing arms and the product extraction screw are driven separately by their own gearmotor unit.
