Coffee are of two types, Arabica coffee and Robusta coffee. - They are all graded with Arabica (grade A, B, C, D & F) and Robusta (GG, G1, G2 & G3) These grades basically has to do with the size of the beans in descending order. - Beans are shipped at a maximum 12% humidity level of 60kg per bag. - A 20ft container can take between 18 to 19.2 tonnes. - Its quite a capital intensive business so the ideal is to locate roaster or coffee shop owners that can buy at a good price and pay upfront. - Depending on the availability of cash, I can take 2 weeks to ship a container. - We can ship as many containers as possible depending on the availability of cash. - Coffee can be shipped as regular coffee or specialty coffee. Regular coffee is clean beans, hand picked with some broken beans involved. Specialty undergoes more picking, better treatment and from a particular area with no broken beans involved. As such it demands a higher price.
