Vicon’s V992B high defi nition vandal resistant WDR network bullet camera is designed for security installations that need a compact vandal resistant camera that delivers outstanding imaging at 1080P or 3MP resolution. Integrated IR LEDs allow the camera to deliver crisp clear images in low light conditions. The V992B camera provides dual-streaming video and supports H.264 compression technology, drastically reducing fi le sizes and conserving valuable network bandwidth. Users can receive multiple streams simultaneously in different resolutions, frame rates and image qualities for viewing on different platforms. A microphone can be connected to the camera to capture audio. Installation is made easy and cost effective with Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af), which eliminates the need for power cables. Additionally, a composite output is provided for installation using a spot monitor (NTSC/PAL selectable). This compact camera fi ts unobtrusively in any location. In order to adapt to the low light lighting conditions, the V992B has integrated IR LEDs designed to illuminate the scene up to 20 meters. The camera is ONVIF compliant and can be used with many popular VMS systems.
