In order to prevent the phenomenon of insulator windage yaw flashover, most of solutions in domestic application is to install heavy hammers under composite insulators, so as to increase the weight. This method is effective when the wind is weak. However, in case of the strong wind area, especially in the coastal area with strong wind , the installation of heavy hammer is likely to produce pendulum effect, and its windproof effect is not good. The composite insulators made by us has adopted the principle of windage yaw-proof function to increase the composite insulator core size, enhance its bending resistance ability, and reduce the wind deflection to meet the operational requirements.
