The Zeta magnetic door holders are designed to retain a fire door open against the force of its own closing device. In the event of a fire, the door holder magnet can be turned off by the fire alarm, allowing the door to shut. The manual release button is changeable from the base side to left or right. Cable entry is possible from rear side by means of enclosed exits from the base side, left or right. An optional bracket is also available for floor or wall mounting (ZT-BR).

There are 2 versions, 24V dc and 240V ac. The 24v DC door holder requires either a panel with a 24v DC output, or a separate 24V PSU. This can be switched through the FACP aux relay, but it might need back EMF diodes fitted to the Door Holder (1N4002 or similar, stripe to +, non-stripe to -).

The 240v AC door holder is powered through the mains. Unless otherwise stated in the FACP manual, these MUST NOT BE SWITCHED THROUGH THE FACP
AUX RELAY. (Most FACP relays are SELV-low voltage).

Fit a mains rated relay driven from the sounder circuit, and switch through this relay instead.
